Me encontré una estrella / I found a star

Me encontré una estrella,
es fría y pequeña,
no parece viva, ni muerta,
es un astro con puntas gruesas.

La llevo a la casa
y la pongo en una banca,
frente a un espejo la dejó sentada,
para ver si algo pasa.

I found a star,
it's cold and small,
it doesn't seem alive, nor dead,
it's a star with thick points.
I take it to the house
and put it on a bench,
in front of a mirror, left her sitting,
to see if anything happens.

Mientras me alejó,
aquella estrella enfría mi aposento,
congela todo sin remordimiento
y hace un cambio extremo.

Cuando a la habitación regreso,
ha desaparecido todo en un momento,
hay un árbol,mucho hielo
y un Santa Claus sin movimiento.

As it drove me away,
that star chills my chamber,
freezes everything without remorse
and makes an extreme change.
When I return to the room,
everything has disappeared in a moment,
there is a tree, a lot of ice
and a motionless Santa Claus.

Me entusiasmo con la escena,
llegó la Navidad a mi casa bella,
me acercó a la estrella
y al tocarla, un abrigo me llega.

Es un suéter brillante
y con el me veo despampanante,
es increíble lo que hace,
una estrella que hallé una tarde.

I get excited about the scene,
Christmas has come to my beautiful home,
it brought me closer to the star
and when I touch it, a coat comes to me.
It's a shiny sweater
and with it I look stunning,
it's amazing what it does,
a star I found one afternoon.
