Mal Genio / Bad Genius

Hay una rama en el suelo,
que me mira con recelo,
parece que carga a Mal Genio,
un ser vestido de negro.

Mejor no me acercó,
el chisme no es bueno,
continuó mi camino, voy lento
eso sí, sin tropiezos.

There is a branch on the ground,
that looks at me with suspicion,
it seems to be carrying Mal Genio,
a being dressed in black.
I better not go near it,
the gossip is not good,
I continued on my way, I go slowly
but without stumbling.

La rama con la mirada me llama,
y detengo mi camino con calma,
Mal Genio hasta mí se lanza
y se prende de mí como garrapata.

Yo quiero quitarlo,
pero el se prende de inmediato,
ahora, que haré con este ser extraño,
que va a mi pegado.

The branch with the look calls me,
and I stop my path calmly,
Bad Genius rushes up to me
and clings to me like a tick.
I want to remove it,
but he latches on immediately,
now, what shall I do with this strange being,
that is attached to me.

Me empiezo a llenar de amor,
para espantar la mala situación,
me cubro los ojos y pido con fervor,
que Mal Genio se vaya sin decir adiós.

Y tanta devoción surge efecto,
Mal Genio cambia su color negro,
ahora es amarillo intenso
y lleva armonía en su cuerpo.

I begin to fill myself with love,
to scare away the bad situation,
I cover my eyes and pray with fervor,
that Bad Genius leaves without saying goodbye.
And so much devotion takes effect,
Mal Genio changes his black color,
now it is intense yellow
and carries harmony in his body.

Dejo al nuevo Mal Genio en la rama
y saben qué,
la rama sonríe con esta llegada,
es que el amarillo encanta.

I leave the new Evil Genius on the branch

the branch smiles with this arrival,
