La Luna estaba en su morada
leyendo una novela de 300 páginas,
se quedó dormida, estaba agotada
y su cabeza colgaba con gracia,
desde su cuello que doblado estaba.

Tan profunda estaba en su sueño,
que su cabeza cayó al suelo,
se fue rodando a otro emplazamiento
y cuando despertó el cuerpo
fue en busca del redondo miembro.

reading a 300-page novel,

So deep was she in her sleep,

y en la parte más alta se ubicó,
para desde ahí brillar con su claro color.

El cuerpo de la Luna en casa,
buscó algo que la cabeza reemplazará,
tomó una esfera con manchas

Así el astro salió a trabajar,
para la noche alegrar,
ahora dos Lunas se pueden observar,
una que andando va
y otra que sobre un árbol está.
