Los Tejidos de la abuela /
Una abuelita de traje azul,
quiere cambiar su look,
no se siente cómoda frente al espejo
y hoy amaneció buscando algo nuevo.
A granny in a blue suit wants to change her look, she doesn't feel comfortable in front of the mirror and today she woke up looking for something new, a new outfit.
En el armario tiene algunas lanas,
de colores y mucha relevancia,
con cuidado la amarilla saca
y empieza a tejer una pieza extraordinaria.
In the closet she has some wool, colorful and very relevant, she carefully takes out the yellow one and starts to knit an extraordinary piece.
Y cuando a terminado,
se coloca su abrigo dorado,
la abuela parece un plátano,
ella tejió una cáscara con vellón pálido.
And when she is done, Grandma puts on her golden coat, she now looks like a banana, she has woven a peel with pale fleece.
Que bonita se ve la abuelita,
con un suéter de belleza infinita,
en ninguna parte hay otro igual,
ella tejió un plátano que abriga de más.
How pretty granny looks, in a sweater of infinite beauty, nowhere is there another one like it, she knitted a banana that gives extra warmth.
