Lo que emergió del huevo / What came out of the egg

Un huevo blanco,
va rodando rápido,
hasta que se estrella con un frasco,
oscuro y grisáceo.

El huevo se golpea fuerte
y una mancha roja emerge,
esto no es suerte,
algo ahí, crece y crece.

A white egg,
it's rolling fast,
until it crashes into a jar,
dark and grayish.

The egg is hit hard
and a red spot emerges,
this is not luck,
something there, it grows and grows.

Tras un rato brota un ser,
rojo y con ojos también,
busca un lugar donde se sienta bien
y se aleja del huevo aquel.

Llega hasta unas hojas,
espinaca verde y grandiosa,
entre esta se acomoda
y se esconde por varias horas.

After a while a being emerges,
red and with eyes too,
it looks for a place where it feels good
and moves away from the egg.

It reaches some leaves,
green and big spinach,
among these it settles down
and hides for several hours.

Cuando sale del lugar,
su tamaño no es igual,
se duplicó, grande está
y hacia las papas caminando se va.

Son papas amarillas,
pequeñas y fresquitas,
el ser rojo en una de ellas se ubica,
es el cuerpo que requería.

When it leaves the site,
its size is not the same,
it's doubled, it's big
and it walks towards the potatoes.

They are yellow potatoes,
small and fresh,
the red being in one of them is located,
it is the body that it required.

Y se va a jugar,
entre vasos de cristal,
gira en uno con afán,
él feliz, feliz está.

Un ser rojo que nació de un huevo,
que se golpeó sin fundamento,
creció con misterio
y ahora con vidrios juega contento.

among crystal glasses,
he turns in one with eagerness,
he's happy, he's happy.

A red being that was born from an egg,
that was beaten without foundation,
grew with mystery
and now with glass he plays contentedly
