Le berenjena que navega / The Eggplant that Navigates

Una berenjena va navegando,
entre el mar azulado,
lo hace bastante rápido,
le gusta sentir el aire pasando.

Una verdura violeta,
en una barca amarillenta,
es una rara escena,
agradable a quien la aprecia.

An eggplant goes sailing
through the blue sea,
it does it quite fast,
it likes to feel the air passing by.

A violet vegetable,
in a yellowish boat,
is a rare scene,
pleasing to those who appreciate it.

En un descuido la berenjena,
pierde la parte verde de su cabeza,
al agua cae, se hunde, no da espera
y la berenjena en la barca se queda.

Esto es un gran problema,
perdió media cabeza,
la verdura se sienta y piensa
una solución para la situación adversa.

Pero no se le ocurre nada
entonces sin miedo avanza,
no se llora sobre la leche derramada,
así haya perdido una parte preciada.

In an oversight the eggplant,
loses the green part of its head,

A la berenjena tiempo después le crece,
una gran hoja verde,
en el sitio que perdió media cabeza,
surge vida nueva.

Con esta se ve más alta
y se contonea con gracia,
es que nuchas veces las cosas que nos pasan,
siempre traen algo bueno aunque puedan parecer malas.
