Las Antenas de la Abeja / The Bee's Antennae

Una abeja estaba dormida
y se levantó muy tranquila,
se miró en el espejo enseguida
y descubrió que una antena más larga se veía.

Esto era algo realmente extraño,
deberían ser iguales en cada lado,
el insecto se marcha de inmediato
a buscar ayuda en algún lado.

A bee was asleep
and woke up very calmly,
looked in the mirror right away
and discovered that one of its antennae looked longer.

This was really strange,
they should be the same on both sides,
so the insect immediately set off
to find help somewhere.

Al rato regresa y se sienta
parece que a alguien espera
es ahí cuando un perro entra
la saluda y en la cama se trepa.

Toma la antena más corta
y la jala con su boca
poco a poco se alarga de manera asombrosa
mientras la otra se acorta.

After a while, she comes back and sits down,
it looks like she’s waiting for someone,
that’s when a dog comes in,
greets her, and climbs onto the bed.

The dog takes the shorter antenna
and pulls on it with her mouth,
little by little, it grows longer in an amazing way,
while the other one gets shorter.

Cuando el trabajo a terminado,
la abeja hasta el espejo va rápido,
se mira con cuidado
y se emociona, sus antenas se han arreglado.

Gracias al perro sus antenas son idénticas,
el canino solucionó el problema,
la abeja está demasiado contenta
y un corazón dibuja con ellas.

When the work is done,
the bee quickly flies over to the mirror,
looks at herself carefully,
and gets excited—her antennae are fixed.

Thanks to the dog, her antennae are identical,
the dog solved the problem,
the bee is overjoyed,
and she draws a heart with them.
