La tortilla cuadrada / The square tortilla
Soy una tortilla de maíz,
que se horneó cerca de aquí,
me hicieron muy cuadrada
y yo, yo quería ser redondeada.
I am a corn tortilla, that was baked near here, they made me very square and I, I wanted to be rounded.
Los sueños se persiguen,
así sea una torta de sabor predecible,
por eso giro de forma acelerada,
para eliminar las esquinas que me acompañan.

Pero, nada cambia,
mucho giro y sigo cuadrada,
así qué busco una taza,
ahí me sumerjo y salgo desbaratada.

ahora llevo una forma extraña,
