La tarta sin salsa / The cake without sauce

Una tarta de queso cremosa
esperaba la salsa de moras,
mientras tanto abría la boca
para ensayar una sonrisa grandiosa.

Al lugar llega un ratón
y la tarta con su mirada lo cautivo
se acerca y explora su condición
no la muerde, no le apetece este sabor.

A creamy cheesecake
awaited the blackberry sauce,
meanwhile opening its mouth
to rehearse a grandiose smile.

A mouse arrives at the scene
and the cake captivates it with its gaze,
it approaches and explores its condition,
but does not bite it, as it does not fancy this flavor.

La torta se siente mal,
la rechazan por salsa no llevar,
decide ir a buscar,
algunas moras que lo hagan brillar.

Caminando por la mesa encuentra,
moldes de galletas
llama su atención estas formas nuevas
y decide cambiar su apariencia.

The cake feels bad,
they reject it for not having sauce,
it decides to go find
some berries to make it shine.

Walking across the table, it finds
cookie cutters,
these new shapes catch its attention,
and it decides to change its appearance.

Ahora ya no es triangular
lleva una forma peculiar,
piernas y brazos bien le van
y asi regresa a su hogar.

Sonríe, la tarta está contenta
y el ratón siente su esencia,
de nuevo a la torta se acerca
y se toma una selfie con esta belleza.

Now it is no longer triangular,
it has a peculiar shape,
its legs and arms fit well,
and so it returns home.

It smiles, the cake is happy,
and the mouse senses its essence,
approaching the cake once again
and taking a selfie with this beauty.
