La reina de las tejedoras / The queen of weavers

Un caballo café oscuro
llegó con algo absurdo,
es una bola de lana gruesa,
agradablemente tersa
y que consiguió en una feria.

Entra contento al establo,
porque quiere hacer algo,
es creativo, un inventor innato
y con la lana diseñará algo
nunca antes pensado.

A dark brown horse
arrived with something absurd,

pleasantly smooth

He enters the stable happy,
because he wants to do something,
is creative, an innate inventor

never thought of before.

Comienza a tejer algo,
con sus muelas lo va hilando,
no es hábil en estos casos
y entre la lana se va enredando
hasta quedar totalmente aprisionado.

Intenta liberarse pero no lo logra,
la lana es gruesa y no se corta,
pide ayuda a quien lo oiga
y una araña baja orgullosa,
porque ella es la reina de las tejedoras.

He begins to weave something,

Aquella araña solo tenía cuatro patas,
las otras cuatro las perdió en una batalla,
esto no le impedirá tejer con ganas
y comienza a tejer la lana
mientras el caballo espera con calma.

Tras un momento,
la araña a tejido un bello atuendo,
el caballo se siente contento
y agradece este suéter nuevo,
que lo abrigará en días lobregos.

That spider had only four legs,
the other four were lost in a battle,

while the horse waits calmly.

After a moment,
the spider has woven a beautiful outfit,
