La mascota de Olivia / Olivia's pet

En el mesón de una cocina,
vive Olivia, una oliva,
ella siempre está acompañada
por un perro con cuerpo de naranja.

Ella lo llama
y él se acerca con gracia,
giran y bailan,
hasta que se cansan.

At a kitchen counter,
lives Olivia, an olive,
she is always accompanied
by a dog with an orange body.
She calls him
and he approaches her gracefully,
they twirl and dance,
until they get tired.

Cuando Olivia quiere salir,
debe a su perro dejar ahí,
lo guarda en un corral,
para que ningún daño vaya a realizar.

Es que no le gusta estar solo,
la compañía para él lo es todo,
queda en el corral con ojos llorosos,
esperando que Oliva regrese pronto.

When Olivia wants to go out,
she has to leave her dog there,
she keeps it in a pen,
so that no harm will come to him.
He doesn't like to be alone,
company is everything to him,
he stays in the pen with teary eyes,
waiting for Oliva to return soon.

Y cuando la señorita Olivia regresa,
el perro feliz se encuentra,
además le trae un regalo,
una hija verde claro.

Oliva se la pone en la cabeza,
lo adorna para que lindo se vea,
pero, al perro eso no le interesa
él solo quería que Olivia volviera
y en casa estuviera.

And when Miss Olivia returns,
the happy dog is found,
plus he brings her a present,
a light green daughter.
Oliva puts it on her head,
decorates it to make it look pretty,
but, the dog doesn't care about that
he just wanted Olivia to come back
and at home.
