La hoja seca / The dry leaf

It was falling from the ceiling,
a deep brown leaf,
no longer had green on its body,
life changed in a moment.

Toco el piso con gentileza
mientras se acercaba una pulga negra,
ella le explicó a la hoja seca,
que puede volar, sin que el viento interceda.

La pulga que era buen,
tomó la hoja con sutileza,
y salto alto, muy alto,
para mostrarle de lo que estaba hablando.

I touched the floor gently
as a black flea approached,
she explained to the dry leaf,
that it can fly, without the wind interceding.
The flea that was good,
took the leaf with subtlety,
and jumped high, very high,
to show her what she was talking about.

Y fue así como la hoja comprendió,
que los cambios traen algo mejor,
se deben es aprovechar
y sacar lo mejor del momento en el que estas.

La hoja aprendió a escalar,
y se filtra en cualquier lugar
es un ser que su vida está aprovechando
dejando atrás, el árbol del que alguna vez estuvo sujetado.

And that's how the leaf understood,
that change brings something better,
is to take advantage of them
and make the best of the moment in which you are.
The leaf learned to climb,
and seeps into any place
it is a being that is making the most of its life
leaving behind, the tree it was once attached to.
