La flor cansada / The tired flower
Dos flores en la pradera estaban
y una se siente muy agotada,
no puede dormir, el sol la cansa
por eso se despide y se marcha.
Camina entre la pradera
y baja la montaña de hábil manera,
conoce una amiga que vive cerca
y visitar a Camila le parece buena idea.
Two flowers were in the meadow,
and one feels very tired,
she cannot sleep, the sun tires her,
so she says goodbye and leaves.
She walks through the meadow
and skillfully descends the mountain,
she knows a friend who lives nearby,
and visiting Camila seems like a good idea.
Cuando llega no hay nadie
y la flor entra con afanes
ve el sofá y sobre este se hace
pero por su peso la silla se cae.
Angustiada se siente la flor
más aún, porque su amiga llegó,
se puso a llorar sin restricción
y se iba a ir, pero Camila no la dejó.
When she arrives, there is no one there,
and the flower enters eagerly,
she sees the sofa and climbs onto it,
but her weight causes the chair to fall over.
The flower feels distressed,
even more so because her friend has arrived,
she begins to cry uncontrollably
and is about to leave, but Camila won't let her go.
La amiga le dice que tiene una idea
y va hasta el armario que está cerca,
regresa con una almohada pequeña
y se la obsequía para que en ella duerma.
La flor por fin logra descansar
y se queda dormida con celeridad,
mientras tanto Camila arregla el sofá
y se recuesta para ruido no generar.
Her friend tells her she has an idea >and goes to the nearby closet,
returning with a small pillow
and giving it to her to sleep on.
The flower finally manages to rest
and quickly falls asleep,
while Camila arranges the sofa
and lies down so as not to make any noise.
Una flor que de su hogar salió
para hallar algo mejor
por fin lo consiguió
ahora descansa como siempre lo deseo.
A flower that left its home
to find something better
finally achieved it
now it rests as I always wished.
