La Figura Blanquecina / The Pale Figure

Una orquídea amarilla,
va caminando tranquila,
a una montaña se aproxima
y extrae una figura blanquecina.

La arrastra con cuidado
pero la lluvia llega temprano,
se detiene, así no sigue caminando
y se queda esperando que pasé rápido.

A yellow orchid,
walks along quietly,
approaches a mountain
and pulls out a whitish figure.

It drags it along carefully,
but the rain comes early,
so it stops, no longer walking,
and waits for it to pass quickly.

Cuando la lluvia se aleja,
la figura blanquecina despierta,
la orquídea la levanta con cautela
y se van caminando en línea recta.

Llegan hasta un lago cercano
y la figura se lanza sin pensarlo,
entre el agua desaparece rápido
y la orquídea se queda mirando.

When the rain clears,
the pale figure awakens,
the orchid lifts her up gently,
and they walk away in a straight line.

They reach a nearby lake,
and the figure dives in without a second thought,
she disappears quickly beneath the water,
and the orchid stands there watching.

Tras un rato la figura blanquecina
salta del agua y al cielo se aproxima
en lo alto se ubica
ahora es un astro que brilla.

La orquídea se siente contenta,
el nuevo astro brilla sobre ella,
la flor le ayudó cuando nadie era
y ahora la figura blanquecina vela desde el cielo para que bien esté ella.

After a while, the pale figure
leaps from the water and rises toward the sky,
settling high above,
now it is a shining star.

The orchid feels happy,
the new star shines down on her,
the flower helped her when she was alone,
and now the pale figure watches over her from the sky, ensuring her well being.
