La comida quemada / Burnt food
Algo se estaba cocinando,
en un sarten delgado
pero se cocino demasiado
y quedó bastante negreado.
Del fogón la olla quitaron
y sobre la mesa la dejaron,
de ahí se levanto el alimento quemado
y se quedó estático pensando.
Something was cooking,
in a thin pan,
but it was overcooked
and quite blackened.
They removed the pot from the stove
and left it on the table,
from where the burnt food was lifted
and remained static, thinking.
Aquel alimento negro salió
de la olla sin precaución
una ensalada de frutas encontró
y en esta se trepó.
Tomo un trozo de banano
y se lo puso en el cuerpo con cuidado,
pensó que así volvería su tez claro,
pero no pasó y se fue a otro lado.
That black food came out
of the pot without caution
and found a fruit salad,
climbing into it.
It took a piece of banana
and carefully placed it on its body,
thinking that this would restore its light complexion,
but it didn't work and it went elsewhere.
Hasta un lavadero caminó
y sin pensarlo se lanzó,
el agua un poco lo lavó
y por el desagüe se perdió.
Y cuando logró salir por otro lado,
la capa negra se desprendió despacio,
permaneció mucho tiempo remojado
y sirvió, es un copo de avena claro.
He walked to a laundry room
and without thinking twice, he jumped in.
The water washed him a little,
and he was lost down the drain.
And when he managed to come out the other side,
the black layer slowly came off.
He remained soaked for a long time,
and it worked—it's a clear oat flake.
