La cita de la zanahoria / The carrot quote

Una zanahoria muy apuesta,
se aleja de sus compañeras,
tiene una cita a ciegas
y quiere llegar temprano a esta.

Cuando entra al lugar,
empieza a su pareja llamar,
grita y grita sin afán,
la zanahoria sabe que su cita llegará

A very attractive carrot,
leaves her companions behind,
she has a blind date
and wants to arrive early.

When she enters the place,
she starts calling her partner,
she shouts and shouts without haste,
the carrot knows that her date will arrive.

Entre las rocas algo se asoma,
parece ser una sombra
se arrastra con habilidad asombrosa
y sin miedo se acerca hasta la zanahoria.

La verdura naranja a su cita encuentra
es una nube con elegante vestimenta,
se sientan ha hablar de forma amena,
la zanahoria esta feliz con este encuentro a ciegas.

Something peeks out from between the rocks,
it seems to be a shadow,
it crawls with astonishing skill
and fearlessly approaches the carrot.

The orange vegetable finds its date,
it is a cloud dressed in elegant clothing,
they sit down and talk pleasantly,
the carrot is happy with this blind date.

La nube debe regresar a su hogar
y se despide con amabilidad,
se acerca para a la zanahoria abrazar
y le dice que algun día la visitará.

La nube se va feliz al cielo
y la zanahoria la despide con afecto,
eso sí, el nubarron le dejó un obsequio
trozos de rocío que la hortaliza lleva en su cuerpo.

The cloud must return to its home
and bids farewell kindly,
approaching to embrace the carrot
and telling it that one day it will visit.

The cloud leaves happily for the sky
and the carrot bids it farewell affectionately,
but the cloud left it a gift
droplets of dew that the vegetable carries on its body.
