Espantando la mugre / Chasing the filth

Cuando termino mi labor,
guardo la mugre tras la mesa marrón,
así no la veré por hoy
y podré descansar en el sillón.

I'm going to sweep the land, there's a lot of dirt in my house, I want the white floor to be like when it was new. When I finish my work, I put the dirt behind the brown table, I put the dirt behind the brown table, so I won't see it for the day and I can rest on the couch.

Sin embargo la mugre es rebelde
y de donde la dejé, se mueve,
se esparce por el suelo suavemente
y la casa queda sucia nuevamente.

Yo soy un ser inteligente,
no permitiré que la mugre me moleste,
busco algo incoherente,
un disfraz, de monstruo indecente.

However, the dirt is rebellious and from where I left it, it moves, it scatters on the floor gently and the house is dirty again. I am an intelligent being, I will not allow the dirt to bother me, I look for something incoherent, a disguise, an indecent monster.

Cuando la suciedad me ve,
se asusta, se va y no vuelve después,
ahora sí, la mugre espanté,
podré descansar, hasta las 6.

When the dirt sees me, it gets scared, leaves and doesn't come back later, now I've scared the filth away, I'll be able to rest, until 6 o'clock.
