El temor del fantasma / The fear of the ghost

Hay fantasmas,
que se esconden tras la puerta,
pues no quieren que los veas,
porque se asustan con tu presencia.

Este es un fantasma de la vieja era,
no debería comportarse de esta manera,
¿qué será lo que lo atormenta?,
sí él puede espantar a cualquiera.

There are ghosts,
that hide behind the door,
because they don't want you to see them,

La situación se siente mejor,
cuando hago una máscara de cartón,
es igual a él, pero de otro color,
quiero que se acerqué sin temor.

Es que el miedo debe cambiar,
por seguridad,
aunque existe la maldad,
los buenos somos más.

Y funciona, funciona mi estrategia,
él se acerca con creencia,
le entrego la máscara para que la vea
y más confiado se sienta.

Aquel fantasma está feliz,
porque ahora sabe que está bien aquí,
encontró un lugar,
donde lo respetan y valoran su inmensidad.

And it works, my strategy works,

En este mundo tan inmenso,
todos, todos cabemos,
los fantasmas y los perros,
