El talento del caballo solitario / The talent of the solitary horse

Un caballo que vivía en la pradera,
sentía soledad extrema,
nadie lo visitaba, no vivían cerca
y él no tenía con quien compartir la cena.

Un día aburrido de está situación,
el caballo un rollo de cartón buscó,
con sus dientes lo cortó
y un caballo de mentiras inventó.

A horse that lived in the meadow,
was extremely lonely,
no one visited him, no one lived nearby
and he had no one to share his dinner with.

One day, bored with this situation,
the horse looked for a roll of cardboard,
with his teeth he cut it
and invented a horse of lies.

Cuando la noche llegó,
el caballo a dormir se acostó
y cuando despertó,
se habían robado su creación.

Miró hacía arriba con desespero
y encontró su caballo en el cielo
estaba volando contento
y su jinete era el sol inmenso.

When night came,
the horse lay down to sleep
and when he awoke
his creation had been stolen.

He looked up in despair
and found his horse in the sky
he was flying contentedly
and its rider was the immense sun.

Entonces comprendió,
que el sol su caballo se llevó,
esto lo lleno de emoción
y se puso a crear más figuras de cartón.

El sol se las llevó al cielo
y el caballo ahora está contento,
ha encontrado su talento
y le sacará el mejor provecho.

Then he understood,
that the sun had taken his horse,
this filled him with emotion
and he began to create more cardboard figures.

The sun took them to the sky
and the horse is now happy,
he has found his talent
and will make the most of it.
