El nido del ave / The bird's nest

La corriente del mar Atlántico,
trae una hoja de color verde claro,
entre sus aguas vienea nadando
y un pájaro la ve desde lo alto.

El ave aterriza en una roca
y trata de traer la hoja,
con su ala la arrastra a su zona
y sin miedo la toma.

The current of the Atlantic Ocean
carries a light green leaf,
it floats along in the water,
and a bird spots it from above.

The bird lands on a rock
and tries to retrieve the leaf,
it drags it toward itself with its wing
and fearlessly picks it up.

Se va volando contenta
y llega hasta su cueva
en esta la hoja verde deja
y se va a traer hojas nuevas.

De una grieta sale una hoja
y mira la otra tendida y sola,
se acerca y la toma,
ahora ve su mirada temerosa.

She flies away happily
and reaches her cave,
there she leaves the green leaf
and goes to fetch new ones.

A leaf emerges from a crack
and sees the other lying there, all alone,
it approaches and takes it,
and now sees its fearful gaze.

Decide llevarla con ella,
pero, al ave se encuentran,
este pájaro trae una hoja nueva
sin remordimiento y sin ni pena.

La hoja habla con el pájaro,
le dice que haga su nido con palos,
que ellas merecen vivir plácido
y no ser hogar de seres emplumados.

She decides to take it with her,
but when they meet,
this bird brings a new leaf
without remorse or regret.

The leaf speaks to the bird,
telling it to build its nest with twigs,
that they deserve to live in peace
and not be home to feathered creatures.

El ave es benevolente
y la situación entiende,
se va en busca de materiales diferentes
y las hojas al bosque regresan felizmente.

El pájaro vuelve tiempo después,
con un nido color beige,
está hecho de palos y papel,
ya no necesita hojas para un nido hacer.

The bird is kind-hearted
and understands the situation,
it goes off in search of different materials,
and the leaves happily return to the forest.

The bird returns some time later,
with a beige-colored nest,
it is made of twigs and paper,
and no longer needs leaves to build a nest.
