El gusano con sonrisa / The worm with a smile
Un perro blanco,
que lleva rojas quelas como manos,
el prado va olfateando,
buscando muy despacio algo.
De repente se detiene,
algo muy bien huele,
no sé ve superficialmente,
pero ahí está, su olor no miente.
A white dog,
with red paws like hands,
sniffs around the meadow,
searching slowly for something.
Suddenly it stops,
smelling something very good,

Empieza a escarbar con la nariz
hasta que sale algo de ahí,
un gusano que huele a anís
y el perro lo intenta ingerir.
El gusano deja ver su sonrisa
y el perro siente empatía,

y lo deja, no comerá una risa.

until something comes out,

and the dog tries to eat it.

Llega una gallina entrometida

El buen perro abre la tierra,

A nosy hen arrives
