El gato y la ballena / The Cat and the Whale
Un gato va caminando
entre el césped mojado,
la noche anterior llovió demasiado
pero esto no detiene sus pasos.
Lleva consigo una pluma larga
de coloración larga,
pasa sin mirar nada,
concentrado en la marcha.
A cat walks
through the wet grass,
it rained heavily the night before,
but this does not slow its pace.
It carries a long feather
of long coloration,
it passes without looking at anything,
focused on walking.
En su casa sobre la cama,
esperaba una ballena azulada,
la pobre quedo atascada
y el gato quiso ayudarla.
Por eso la llevó a su vivienda
y le consiguió una pluma nueva,
con cuidado se la pone a la ballena,
para que pueda volar con ella.
At home on the bed,
a blue whale was waiting.
The poor thing was stuck,
and the cat wanted to help her.
So he took her to his house
and got her a new feather.
He carefully put it on the whale
so she could fly with it.
La pluma adhiere con paciencia
en la espalda de la ballena,
luego con todas sus fuerzas
la carga y la lleva afuera.
Y aunque esta idea era loca,
realmente funciona
la ballena vuela de manera asombrosa
no nada en el océano pero si entre nubes pomposas.
The feather patiently sticks
to the whale's back,
then with all its strength
it lifts it up and carries it away.
And although this idea was crazy,
it really works:
the whale flies amazingly,
not swimming in the ocean but among pompous clouds.
