El día que salvé una gota de rocío/ The day I saved a dew drop
Me encontré una gota de rocío,
en un día sin frío,
no había brisa fresca
solo el sol, calentando con fuerza.
I found a drop of dew, on a day without cold, there was no cool breeze, there was only the sun, warming up strongly.
La invité a subir a mi mano,
para llevarla a otro lado,
donde no la evapore el sol
y pueda vivir sin preocupación.
I invited her to climb into my hand, to take her somewhere else, where the sun won't evaporate her and she can live without worry.
Y es que no hay mejor hogar,
que la nevera de mamá,
tiene la temperatura ideal
y algunas frutas para hacer amistad.
And there is no better home, than mom's refrigerator, it has the ideal temperature and some fruits to make friends.
Ahí quedó guardada,
la gota de rocío que en el piso estaba,
ahora permanece conservada,
en la nevera de la casa.
There it was kept, the dewdrop that was on the floor, now remains preserved, in the refrigerator of the house.
