Un ciempiés glotón
sube a la mesa sin invitación,
se acerca sin limitación
a un plato con frutas de diversos color.
Se come la fruta naranja,
también la amarilla clara
y cuando todo acaba,
sin explicación se marcha.
A gluttonous centipede
climbs onto the table uninvited,
approaches without restraint
a plate of colorful fruits.
It eats the orange fruit,
and the light yellow one too,
and when it's all gone,
it leaves without explanation.
Se baja de la mesa
y unas papas fritas encuentra,
toma una de ellas
y se la come sin problema.
Se percata que hay un frasco lleno,
de papas fritas que saben bueno,
las devora sin miedo
y se lleva una para el almuerzo.
He gets down from the table
and finds some potato chips,
takes one of them
and eats it without any problem.

Y es que este insecto es tan glotón,
que se sube a mi mesa con precaución
y cuando ve mi almuerzo de hoy,
lo toma sin ningún temor.

This insect is so greedy,
it climbs onto my table cautiously
