El astro que encontró un mosquito /The star that found the mosquito

Un lindo astro se estrella,
del cielo cae a la tierra,
la pobre tendida queda
hasta que llega un mosquito a verla.

El animal la olfatea
y la toma con paciencia,
poco a poco la lleva
no quiere que corra peligro en la tierra.

A beautiful star crashes,
falls from the sky to the earth,
the poor thing lies there
until a mosquito comes to see it.

The animal sniffs it
and picks it up patiently,
carrying it away little by little,
not wanting it to be in danger on the ground.

El mosquito lo lleva sobre la mesa
y sobre una tortilla la deja,
la envuelve en esta,
para que su brillo no pierda.

Durante su ausencia el astro,
rompe la tortilla sin reparo,
sale de este lugar afanado
y tras el descanso, vuela de inmediato.

The mosquito carries it to the table
and leaves it on a tortilla,
wrapping it in it,
so that it doesn't lose its shine.

During its absence, the star
breaks the tortilla without hesitation,
leaves this place in a hurry
and, after resting, flies away immediately.

Y cuando el mosquito regresa
la tortilla rota encuentra,
el astro no está sobre ella,
pero le dejó una sorpresa.

Un dibujo de una estrella,
dejó sobre la tortilla puesta,
ahora el mosquito tendrá en la tierra
un astro de grandiosa belleza.

And when the mosquito returns,
it finds the broken tortilla,
the star is no longer there,
but it left a surprise.

left on the tortilla,
now the mosquito will have on earth
a star of great beauty.
