El ángel de los pájaros / The angel of birds

Un pájaro esta aprendiendo a volar
y nadie cerca está,
él mira la altura, miedo le da
y se lanza sin pensar,
cae al vacío, pero, no se ve volar.

Se estrella con el suelo fuertemente
y el pobre queda inconsciente
un ángel viene, se acerca sutilmente
lo levanta y se lo lleva habilmente
en un carro de colores pasteles.

A bird is learning to fly
and no one is around,
it looks up at the height, feels afraid,
and jumps without thinking,
falling into the void, but it cannot fly.

It crashes hard into the ground
and the poor thing is knocked unconscious.
An angel comes, approaching quietly,
lifts it up, and skillfully carries it away
in a pastel-colored carriage.

El ave no se percata,
de que un ángel lo lleva a su casa
con la caída no sabe nada
va desmayada
y no sabe que quieren salvarla.

El ángel lo deja sobre un pan,
fresco y con esponjosidad
el dulce olor al pájaro hace levantar
y comienza a comer con afán
para fuerzas recuperar.

The bird does not realize
that an angel is carrying it home.
It knows nothing of its fall,
it is unconscious
and does not know that they want to save it.

The angel places it on a piece of bread,
fresh and fluffy.
The sweet smell of the bird makes it wake up,
and it begins to eat eagerly
to regain its strength.

El pájaro se marcha contento,
con la comida recuperó el aliento,
no cojea, está perfecto
y sale caminando sin miedo,
sabe que volará de nuevo

El ángel se queda sentado
y cuando piensa que el día a acabado,
del cielo cae una pluma color pardo
que le mando el ave como regalo,
en agradecimiento por haberlo salvado.

The bird flies away happily,
having regained its strength with food,
it doesn't limp, it's perfect,
and it walks away without fear,
knowing that it will fly again.

The angel remains seated,
and when he thinks the day is over,
a brown feather falls from the sky,
sent to him by the bird as a gift,
in gratitude for having saved it.
