El amor de la berenjena / The love of eggplant
Había una vez una berenjena
que custodiaba una torta fresca,
era de manzana y fresas,
una receta bien hecha.
La berenjena cada mañana,
se sentaba en la banca,
tomaba un libro naranja
y leía en voz alta,
para que la torta escuchara.
Once upon a time there was an eggplant, who guarded a fresh cake, it was apple and strawberries, a well-made recipe. The eggplant every morning, sat on the bench, picked up an orange book and read aloud for the cake to hear.
La verdura morada pretendía,
enseñar a la torta cosas bonitas,
sobre sana convivencia,
familia y amistades bellas.
Y de repente empiezan a emerger,
hojas verdes con sencillez,
una planta de la torta germinó,
nació vida, entre migajas marrón.
The purple vegetable intended, to teach the cake nice things, about healthy coexistence, family and beautiful friendships. And suddenly they begin to emerge, green leaves with simplicity, a plant of the cake germinated, life was born, among brown crumbs.
La berenjena se enternece,
con este nacimiento verde
se va en busca de una sorpresa
y regresa con una flor violeta.
La verdura quiere aportar algo más,
por eso coloca la flor con suavidad,
la planta queda con un color sin igual,
pétalos violeta para dar preciosidad.
The eggplant is touched by this green birth, goes off in search of a surprise and returns with a violet flower. The vegetable wants to bring something more, so it places the flower gently, the plant is left with an unparalleled color, violet petals to make it beautiful.
La vida no nace en todos lados
y esta historia trae algo mágico,
vida, en lugares inimaginados
en una torta de color dorado,
que nació por el cariño,
que la berenjena le ha entregado.
Life is not born everywhere and this story brings something magical, life, in unimagined places in a golden colored cake, that was born out of love, that the eggplant has given it.
Que lindo cuento amiga, en que el amor hace germinar la vida, en el lugar menos imaginado.
