El agua mágica / The magic water.

Aquí vive un perro,
pequeño, muy pequeño,
eso sí tiene un pote bello,
para beber agua en exceso
cuando llega la sed del momento
por el fuerte sol que está haciendo.

Here lives a dog,
small, very small,
but he has a beautiful pot,
to drink water in excess
when the thirst of the moment arrives
because of the strong sun.

Es un pote anaranjado,
donde reposa agua con brillo encantado,
un mosco hacía este se ha precipitado
y mágicamente a rebotado,
como balón bien inflado.

El perro llega corriendo,
para socorrer al insecto,
hablan por un momento,
seguramente le da consuelo.

It is an orange pot,
where water rests with an enchanted glow,

Tras un buen diálogo,
el perro toma agua sin cuidado,
deja el suelo mojado
y el insecto aprovecha el líquido preciado.

Toma el agua con sus alas
y se la lleva con calma,
vuela, se marcha
y la historia parece que aquí para.

After a good dialogue,
the dog drinks water carelessly,
leaves the floor wet
and the insect takes advantage of the precious liquid.

Después de un tiempo regresa,
el insecto con el líquido en su cabeza
y se precipita con fuerza
al pote que el agua lleva.

Y esta vez sí entra,
no rebota, dentro queda
desaparece de mágica manera,
aquel insecto de graciosa apariencia.

the insect with the liquid on its head

into the pot that the water carries.
