El abrazo del volcán / The embrace of the volcano.

Un armario solitario
esconde un ser mágico
es un volcán que se está ocultando,
del viento que anda rondando.

El viento hace estruendos,
que se escuchan a lo lejos
y cuando llega al aposento,
choca contra el armario sin remedio.

A lonely closet
hides a magical being
is a volcano that is hiding,
from the wind that prowls around.
The wind makes rumblings
that can be heard in the distance
and when it reaches the room
it crashes against the closet without remedy.

Todo queda en silencio
y el volcán se asoma con recelo
observa al pobre viento,
quieto, es que perdió el conocimiento.

La montaña debe perder el miedo,
para dar primeros auxilios al viento,
sale del armario con miramiento
y abraza al que está tendido en el suelo.

All is silent
and the volcano peeps out warily
observes the poor wind,
still, it's lost consciousness.
The mountain must lose its fear,
to give first aid to the wind,
it comes out of the closet with a look
and embraces the one lying on the ground.

Los abrazos siempre curan
y el viento se recupera con premura,
se levanta como nuevo
y entrega al volcán aire fresco.

La montaña usa el aire como bufanda,
ahora lleva frescura ilimitada,
ya no siente miedo
y no regresa al armario viejo,
sino que se va a recorrer el universo.

Hugs always heal
and the wind recovers with haste,
rises like new
and delivers fresh air to the volcano.
The mountain wears the air as a scarf,
now carries unlimited freshness,
it no longer feels fear
and does not return to the old closet,
but goes out to roam the universe.
