Comida para un escarabajo / Food for a beetle

Un escarabajo colorido y chiquito,
sale de su guarida los domingos,
camina lento y con estilo,
por un madero claro ceñido.

Cuando llega al final,
espera un caballo qué llegando está
él trae provisiones con su galopar
y al escarabajo las entrega con amabilidad.

A colorful and small beetle,
leaves his lair on Sundays,
walks slowly and with style,
by a light wood girded.

When he reaches the end,
awaits a horse which arriving is
he brings provisions with his gallop
and to the beetle he delivers them with kindness.

El escarabajo regresa a su hogar
y el siguiente domingo sale a esperar,
el caballo llega sin nada más
y le dice al insecto que no volverá.

Le explica que se jubiló
y el escarabajo llora sin control,
se quedará sin ninguna provisión
en una guarida sin nada alrededor.

The beetle returns to his home
and the following Sunday he goes out to wait,
the horse arrives with nothing else
and tells the insect that he will not return.

He explains that he retired
and the beetle cries uncontrollably,
will be left without any provisions
in a den with nothing around.

El caballo se marcha y deja todo atrás
pero la lástima no lo deja avanzar,
le dice al escarabajo que lo llevará
a un lugar donde comida siempre tendrá.

Llegan hasta una alacena,
con muchos alimentos de calidad buena,
el escarabajo contento se queda
mientras el caballo se aleja.

The horse goes away and leaves everything behind
but pity does not let him move forward,
tells the beetle that he will take him
to a place where he will always have food.

They get to a cupboard,
with lots of good quality food,
the beetle is happy and stays
while the horse walks away.
