Bullying a una rana / Bullying a frog
Una rana muy elegante,
traía un suéter de colores brillantes,
ella se veía admirable
y generó intriga en otros animales.
El perro y el ave se acercaron
y por un largo rato conversaron,
con amabilidad le preguntaron,
dónde comprar un atuendo estrafalario.
A very elegant frog,
wearing a brightly colored sweater,
looked simply stunning
and piqued the curiosity of the other animals.
The dog and the bird approached
and chatted for quite a while,
they kindly asked her
where they could buy such a quirky outfit.
La rana sus preguntas contestó
hasta que el ave mal se portó,
el suéter le arrebató
y sin decir nada se lo llevó.
La rana de tristeza se llenó
y el perro hasta ella se acercó,
le dijo que le tenía un plan mejor,
irse a pasear sin condición.
The frog answered all his questions
until the bird misbehaved,
snatching the sweater away
and taking it off without a word.
The frog was overcome with sadness,
and the dog came over to her,
telling her he had a better plan,
to go for a walk, no strings attached.
Un día regresó el ave,
con el suéter de colores brillantes,
se encontró con los otros animales,
que paseaban de forma agradable.
Es que la rana perdió su abrigo,
pero a cambio, ganó un amigo
y el pajaro quedó solito,
eso sí, bien abrigadito.
One day the bird returned,
wearing a brightly colored sweater,
and met the other animals,
who were strolling along happily.
The frog had lost his coat,
but in exchange, he gained a friend,
and the bird was left all alone,
though, to be sure, nice and warm.
