Así nacen las estrellas / This is how stars are born

Una gallina está escondida,
entre los platos de la cocina,
sale por un momento con prisa
y trae una servilleta colorida.

Entre la servilleta viene algo,
que está muy bien guardado,
con cuidado lo va arrastrando,
eso sí, parece estar pesado.

A hen is hiding,
among the dishes in the kitchen,
comes out for a moment in a hurry
and brings a colorful napkin.

Encuentra un lugar adecuado,
para ubicar lo que trae arrastrado,
con cuidado la servilleta va retirando
y deja ver un pan abullonado.

Sobre el pan se sienta con cuidado,
porque quiere incubarlo
la pobre gallina está delirando,
no va a salir un pollo de un pan pardo.

She finds a suitable place,

Lo que viene después me desconcierta,
porque el pan se fragmenta,

es brillante y de gran belleza.

De aquel pan nació una estrella,
que afanada al cielo se eleva,
la gallina no actuaba frenética,
debía incubar un astro de gran belleza.

What comes next puzzles me,
because the bread fragments,

Las estrellas están en el cielo,
pero a su madre no conocemos,
yo hoy vi nacer una en mi aposento
y una gallina permitió este acontecimiento.
