Antenas nuevas / New antennas
Una abeja llega a la cocina
y trae consigo una rama fina,
en ella viene una semilla,
que se desprende sólita,
es marrón y de mirada bonita.
La abeja sigue sin mirar atrás
y la semilla busca un nuevo hogar
salta dentro de un plato que cerca está
y se le adhieren copos de avena de más,
ahora es una semilla original.
A bee arrives in the kitchen
and brings with it a thin branch,
on which there is a seed,
which falls off on its own,
it is brown and pretty to look at.
The bee continues without looking back
and the seed looks for a new home,
it jumps into a nearby plate
and extra oat flakes stick to it,
now it is an original seed.
Cuando la abeja regresa,
encuentra esta semilla excéntrica,
de copos de avena va cubierta
y le pregunta, como logro esa proeza,
la abeja quiere decorar sus antenas.
La semilla le muestra el plato
y dice que ponga la cabeza con cuidado,
tras un buen rato,
la abeja lleva copos blancos,
la punta de sus antenas ahora es claro.

son mejores que las viejas,
el nectar con facilidad detecta
y entre flores camina contenta,
es una abeja que por fin un jardín encuentra.
The bee feels excited,
it works better than she thought,
now she can move around confidently
and look for plants,
full of graceful flowers.
Her oatmeal antennae
are better than the old ones,
she can easily detect nectar
and walks happily among the flowers,
