Amistades Extrañas / Strange Friendships
Un bus se acerca a la avenida
y lleva algo en la parte de arriba,
es una cabeza de gallina
y un cuerpo de forma distinta,
con colores que cautivan.
Va bastante rápido
y este ser se cae sin cuidado,
el bus sigue su paso
y la cabeza de gallina se esconde de inmediato
tras unos árboles cercanos.
A bus approaches the avenue
and is carrying something on top,
it’s a chicken’s head
and a body of a different shape,
with captivating colors.
It’s going pretty fast
and this creature falls carelessly,
the bus keeps going
and the chicken’s head immediately hides
behind some nearby trees.
Llega al lugar un caballo,
que de madera ha sido elaborado,
este ser raro sale de inmediato
y le entrega la gallina afanado
porque no cree que pueda cuidarlo.
La criatura rara se sienta con tristeza
lo hizo por mejor, extrañará su cabeza
y cuando la tarde llega,
aparece de nuevo la cabeza
en un auto de gran belleza.
A horse arrives at the scene,
carved from wood,
this strange creature steps out immediately
and hurriedly hands over the chicken
because it doesn’t think it can take care of it.
The strange creature sits down sadly
it did it for the best, it will miss its head,
and when evening falls,
the head reappears
in a car of great beauty.
La gallina ama su cuerpo imperfecto,
aunque se caiga cuando van en movimiento,
por eso rentó un auto inmenso,
para regresar sin misterio,
junto a quien ha sido su fiel compañero.
Los dos se van en el auto,
eso sí , regresan tras un rato,
mejor les va caminando
y cuando el cuerpo se siente cansado
carga la cabeza en un brazo y sigue su
paso.
The hen loves her imperfect body,
even if she stumbles when they’re on the move,
which is why she rented a huge car,
to return without any fuss,
alongside the one who has been her faithful companion.
The two of them set off in the car,
but they do come back after a while,
they’re better off walking,
and when her body feels tired,
she rests her head on an arm and keeps going.
