Alquilando mi armario / Renting out my closet

Un nubarron pomposo y claro,
baja del cielo despacio
pisa el pavimento blanco
y se va caminando hacía un lado.

La nube entra a mi casa,
sin ser invitada,
se sienta en el sofá de mi sala
y me espera con perseverancia.

A pompous, clear cloud
slowly descends from the sky,
steps onto the white pavement,
and walks off to one side.

The cloud enters my house,
uninvited,
sits on my living room sofa,
and waits patiently for me.

Cuando llegó encuentro sentado
a un nubarron, que me está esperando
pide que le arriende el armario,
porque quiere hacer un acuario.

Su idea me parece fantástica,
un acuario es una idea mágica
en el armario lo dejo para ver que pasa
y me siento en el sofá de la sala.

When he arrived, I found him sitting
on a cloud, waiting for me.
He asked me to rent him the closet,
because he wanted to make an aquarium.

I thought his idea was fantastic.
An aquarium is a magical idea.
I left it in the closet to see what would happen,
and I sat down on the sofa in the living room.

Y tras un rato del armario cae,
un pez de tono brillante,
es naranja, con un ojo grande
y lo pongo en el armario con afanes.

Ahí esta el nubarron,
recibe al pez y me dice adiós,
esta feliz con el acuario que inventó
en un armario de mi habitación.

And after a while, it falls out of the closet,
a brightly colored fish,
it's orange, with a big eye,
I eagerly put it in the closet.

There's the cloud,
it welcomes the fish and says goodbye to me,
it's happy with the aquarium it invented
in a closet in my room.

Es bueno poder colaborar,
para que los demás puedan avanzar,
todos tenemos sueños por hacer realidad
y quizá, podamos ayuda prestar.

It's good to collaborate,
so that others can work,
we all have dreams to make come true
and maybe we can help.
