zombie apocalypse or the only living person on the planet?
Greetings, friends of WEEKENDEXPERIENCES ❤️
We often imagine situations we see in movies happening in our lives. We imagine what it would be like, and we even put ourselves in the position of the person acting in that moment. That's why my chosen theme for this weekend is the following:
Would rather be in a zombie apocalypse or the only living person on the planet? Explain in either case.
Loneliness is often addictive. Personally, I enjoy being alone sometimes, but I can't imagine living alone in the world being the only person there. Both are extreme and terrifying scenarios. But I think most people would consider living in a zombie apocalypse a more considerable option than being the only person in the world.
Even though you'd have the whole world to yourself, I can't imagine being completely alone in it. I think I'd reach a point of insanity where I'd even end my existence, since being alone wouldn't even mean reproducing, and this means being alone forever. The mere thought of it terrifies me. 😱
In a zombie apocalypse scenario, my life would be in danger every second, but I would have the chance to be with other people and perhaps try to rebuild part of the world and our lives. We would live in a constant struggle to destroy the zombies. We would seek shelter, we would make efforts to get food. And despite the fact that the vast majority of zombie movies portray humanity as quite aggressive, both toward zombies and among themselves, I know there could be a little hope that there are good humans, that there are those humans who want a better world, and that would be my greatest motivation to try to survive in that zombie apocalypse.
I love watching zombie movies. While I'm watching them, I imagine the chaos and I imagine myself immersed in the character, not because I want something like that for the world, but because I imagine how I would react in such extreme situations. I think I would be one of those who fight tooth and nail to defend my people and end this terrible plague.
I know that in a zombie apocalypse scenario there are many scary and risky things, like the main theme of being bitten by a zombie and turning into one of them. The issue of getting food would be quite complicated. In addition to the zombies, the other survivors would be a great threat. Law and order would vanish, leading to violence, theft, betrayal, and the formation of dangerous groups. This would be inevitable. That's how all the movies portray it, and I'm aware that it would be a pretty extreme situation.
In any case, the world is a constant struggle to survive, whether there's a zombie apocalypse or not. In that case, it would be quite terrifying. But we would have reasons to continue fighting to survive and exist. Unlike being the only person alive on the planet, I think those reasons to fight and live would disappear since you wouldn't have anyone to tell or show anyone, there would be no one to share your joys or sorrows with, and that would be quite frustrating and sad.
In both situations, it is necessary to imagine scenarios of fear, anguish and despair. We all have different thoughts. Perhaps some wish for a scenario like living alone in the world and dying in peace, but I would prefer to fight to the end and if I am going to cease to exist, I want there to still be other human beings on the planet.
