Nowadays, one of the most common things people, regardless of age, do is share their things on social media. Personally, I really like sharing videos on TikTok, which is why I've chosen the following topic:

What do you think of internet trolls and why, and what defines an internet troll?

What is an Internet Troll for me? Well, as we say in my country: "It's someone who has no job." The type of person who simply has nothing to do and spends their time bothering others. They are people who post provocative and often even offensive messages. They do this in different social media posts, or any online community.

One of the main things that stands out on the Hive platform is respect. This is one of the social networks where it's difficult to see a bad comment on your posts, and this makes it a special social network. Aside from Hive, I really like sharing content on TikTok. There I share quotes, stories about my cats, my adventures, and some of my sewing and craft work.

I currently have a little over 1,000 followers. Luckily, I've rarely received negative comments on my posts, but I'm not exempt from this. I recently shared a video with a quote that bothered some people. That's when I asked myself: Am I the only user on the internet? If you don't like or dislike my content, just swipe and find something you like 🤭

Of course, this bothered me, but on the other hand, I thought, at least 1,000 people are already watching my video. So, I said, it's not worth arguing with these kinds of people, and I went to the part where you can block comments on the video, and that settled it. That person was left with the need to receive responses and continue their conflict.

It's not easy, sometimes I wonder how celebrities cope when they receive so many bad comments, sometimes these people are quite hurtful and if you don't have good control of your emotions it can affect you, this is why I think that social networks are a double-edged sword, many times you share things that you think people will like and there is always someone who looks for the negative side and this is unpleasant.

But if you like to share content, it's best to be smart and think about how coming into conflict with that Internet Troll could affect you, so the best thing we can do in this case is not fall for those provocations. Luckily, all social networks have functions in which you can block those unpleasant people who like to make bad comments on videos or posts, or simply block comments so that no one can comment on your content if you wish.

The main objective of these internet trolls is not to participate in a constructive debate, but to provoke a negative emotional reaction in other users and as we have seen trolls in movies these are evil beings, but since we are not in a movie the best we can do against these beings is simply not pay attention to them, if the bad comment is on a video that belongs to you you can delete the comment, if you saw the bad comment in a publication of a famous person, simply do not pay attention to it the bad comment is not directed towards you so it is best not to fall into that provocation and thus you will avoid unnecessary displeasure 😉
