missing things from childhood… ☺️❤️
Happy Weekend, Dear Friends of WEEKENDEXPERIENCES! ☺️❤️
I hope you're enjoying a pleasant day. Here's my take on weekend commitments; my chosen topic is the following:
What do you miss about being a child and why?
I love cars, and I loved this one. It was in impeccable condition.
Childhood is one of the most wonderful stages of life, only we realize it when it's too late and we're adults burdened with a million responsibilities. I think what I miss most about my childhood is a collective feeling, haha, and that's being able to have a few peaceful days, even if it's just to forget about the responsibilities and commitments we have.
Being an adult isn't easy, especially if you're a woman and you already have children (not to discriminate against men, but when it comes to children, the vast majority of the responsibility falls on the woman). Our responsibilities never rest; every day we have something to do, from the moment we wake up until we finally decide to rest at night.
Yesterday, Saturday, I woke up around 7:30 AM. I finally managed to get up a little later than usual during the week, but as soon as I got up, I started doing laundry. We always accumulate too much laundry during the week. Can you believe I spent the whole day washing? I finished around 8 PM, and I still had a basket full of sheets and towels left to wash. It's in moments like these that I wish I could be a child again, get up, and play, or just complain about being bored and having nothing to do, no matter what's going on around me. I wish that when we were children, we had understood how lucky we were.
As children, our parents give us very few responsibilities; we almost always leave the simplest chores to the children, all so that they can help a little at home, such as washing the dishes or tidying up their rooms, but we do this in just a few minutes and spend the rest of the day doing nothing much.

Well, adulthood isn't so bad after all. On my days off, I don't do anything, and nobody has to tell me what to do or scold me, unlike childhood when our parents were always hovering, ordering us around or scolding us because we did something wrong. Anyway, I do miss some things from childhood, but I'm also happy being an adult 🥰

Ofcos we have more fun and less responsibilities as children, but being an adult affords you freedom and you can do whatever you like workout being scolded.
That's right, friend, thanks for the support 🥰
