Walking in Kać
New Wednesday Walk Challenge and New Place.
This time I decided to take the walk in Kac, This place is also on my way from home to work, and I pass through it every working day.
Not counting Novi Sad, which is the capital of the province, Kac is the largest town I pass through.
It has a population of about 11,000.
The town itself was founded in the thirteenth century. It is believed that the name of the town comes from the Celtic word Katy, meaning "mound", "fortification".

In most of our places, churches are in the center, and so is Kać. Since it is a transit place, crossing from one side of the street to the other can be demanding, so you have to be careful. Regardless of all the signage. And there is a restaurant that stands out from the surrounding houses with its color and appearance.Restaurant or pub I think it's a mix.

There is also the Đura Jakšić elementary school, in front of which there is a bust of Mileva Maric Einstein.

Monument to fallen soldiers in World War II

And there is also the famous Temple Hall within the sports-trade-cultural center Svetosavski dom, the Jugović handball club plays in the Temple Hall.

And between the church and the hall there is a small park for children.

Thanks for reading.
Until next time.
Stay healthy.
