Walking

September temperatures are perfect for being outside and taking walks.
Even the plants have recovered from the summer drought.
Well, nature seems to be spring and not autumn.
Calendar-wise, summer is still here, a few more days.We use the nice sunny weather without rain to spend as much time in nature as possible.
The Danube embankment is close to us, and there is also a forest.
The Danube is a bit further away, but in the spring in March and April the Danube rises to the very embankment.

In the distance you can see houses with beehives for bees.
Our beekeeper from the village keeps them here at the beginning of the forest.
Since I'm on a walk with my wife and child, I won't go near the bees. They are not allergic but they don't want to be stung by bees.

We were a little late with our walk, because the sun was setting quickly.

We headed to a place where there was water, my son likes to throw pebbles in. And that was also a watering place for the cows that were grazing not far away.

But the place where there was water has completely dried up and become overgrown with grass.

So we just wandered around a bit, because the mosquitoes had already started biting.
And we went unarmed against the mosquitoes :)

And there is a little history with us
The embankment that can be seen, especially its lower part, began to be built in the 18th century during the reign of Empress Maria Theresa

What a lovely walk you had. September really seems perfect for spending time outside, and your photos show it beautifully. I like how the plants have recovered from the summer drought and how nature still feels like spring rather than autumn. stay blessed.
