Titelski Breg

Titelski Breg is a light plateau and a hill.
It is located in southeastern Bačka, Vojvodina between the town of Titel in the south, the villages of Lok, Vilovo and Šajkaš in the southwest, the village of Mosorin in the north and the Tisa river in the east.
Its altitude is 128 meters , it is 18 km long and about seven and a half km wide.
I was walking and visiting the hill in the village of Vilovo.
The entrance to the hill is through the so-called surduks
These are places where water used to flow down from the hill to the plain.
Many of them are now paved and lead all the way to the top.

Cliffs are visible along the road
It is actually sand created by wind blowing,That's what science says.
Folklore says that the folk hero Marko Kraljević stopped here to rest, so he took off his shoes to shake off the dirt :)

The less accessible surduks have grown into bushes, fruit trees and trees
I was on one of them.
And the stage that separates from the road was quite neglected and overgrown and a unique climbing experience.

But all the effort of climbing and breaking through the bushes is worth it. At the top, there is a beautiful view of the village, and in the distance you can see the Fruška Gora mountain.

Wheat, corn and sunflowers are the main crops

I came across a pomegranate tree along the way, and I see that they have created an orchard at the foot of it.
