As June began, so did the heat. Today it reached 39 degrees Celsius. The grass has dried up, and at this time of year it is forbidden to use fire in the fields.

It's too hot to do anything except swim:)
But my friends in the countryside are waiting for the wheat harvest.
The harvest has already begun in earnest.
Many of my friends and neighbors have fields or are just doing that.
With their permission, i took pictures of the fields.
But today it's too hot, so I didn't manage to find anyone in the fields. But the work in the fields continues in the evening and early morning.
At this time of day, only a few tractors can be seen moving around with them.
I took the pictures at around 5 PM, while I was returning from work. Many of my friends' fields are located far away in the area
But there is no paved road there. But luckily there are a few fields right next to the road that I was able to photograph.

Here is a story that happened in my village.
When the fields are far away, sometimes there is confusion.
Neighbor 1 was supposed to be threshing corn but his combine broke down. He asked Neighbor 2 to harvest his corn while he fixed the combine. He asked him if he knew where his field was, he confirmed that he did.
Neighbor 1 had a corn field next to neighbor 3 Literally a connected field. about the same size. Neighbor 2 didn't pay attention and harvested the corn from neighbor 3.
Nobody noticed anything, he brought the corn to neighbor 1 and they unloaded the corn into the silo.
Only in the morning did neighbor 3 realize that his corn had been harvested, when he went to thresh corn.
He called neighbor 1 and told him that his corn had been harvested.
Then neighbor 1 realized that neighbor 2 had picked the wrong corn.
Since they knew each other well and were neighbors,
Neighbor 1 asked neighbor 3 to pick his corn, since neighbor 2 had picked the wrong one.
So they sorted out the mess.

I think the temperature on the asphalt itself is over 50-60 degrees, I didn't stay long.

The wheat harvest has begun, so some fields have been harvested and some have not yet.And some even managed to make straw bales.

In Vojvodina, the most common types of crops sown are corn and wheat. But they started sowing sunflowers, soybeans and other types. When I asked my friends if it was because of the price, they said it wasn't so much because of the price, but because of the risk reduction. Every year, a certain plant is suitable, even when there is a drought. You sow more types and something has to succeed.

I used my phone Samsung Galaxy A14 to take the photos.

Looks nice there! It's in Serbia, right?
I didn't know it would get so hot in Serbia. I need to be there instead of here 😎

Yes Serbia, Vojvodina, it's nice most of the year.
Every summer we have more and more days with temperatures above 38 degrees Celsius
But I think the big problem is when those days are connected and there is a lot of evaporation and a lot of humidity in the air. It's really hard to breathe
Like in a pressure cooker here in Vojvodina

Yeah, I checked the area because I wanted to see where it was. To be honest, I like the sound of the warm weather. Here we have only had like up to 25 degrees one day until now 🙃
