Garden journal May, part one
I hope no one is angry or complaining, I have to divide the journal into at least two parts.
There is a lot of it, and I don't know if I'm busy or just here :)
The first strawberries have arrived, beautiful red ones. There were also previous days when they ripened but I didn't have time to take pictures, our son ate them :)
He can't wait for them to ripen nicely.
Both in the greenhouse and under the foil, the strawberries are doing well and ripening, only the ones under the foil were attacked by ants. We will have to add a little cinnamon around the strawberries to disperse the ants. Since we have not seen aphids on the strawberries so far.
The apricots are growing and starting to cause problems. There are a lot of them and they are heavy. The branches are bending a lot. I will have to make a ladder to support the branches. I felt sorry to thin out the buds. And as if out of spite, all the buds bloomed and became apricots.
The figs are doing well and I can't wait for them to arrive, the black elderberry is blooming.
Cherry and plum are also doing well.
One of the apple trees has borne a lot of fruit and is leaning forward, although it was already a little crooked. We will have to support it to straighten it out.
The quince is full of fruit and we hope for a successful year.
The pea bloomed, again. the May Day frost stopped him a little. But for now it's holding up well.
The beans, green beans and zucchini have sprouted. There will be a little work to do with the grass around them.
The carrots and parsley are doing well. We will have to thin out the carrots in some places because they are too dense.
The chamomile in the yard is also blooming, we didn't mow this part to wait for the chamomile.
As for our new place that we have arranged, we prepared foil, to cover the grass to add soil but our rain prevented
And here's a night view of the new garden.
The cucumbers in the rubber and the green beans in the bucket that are in the new garden have sprouted. Now my wife will have something to hang on the arches we installed.
And in our greenhouse there is a veritable jungle of dill, lettuce and tomatoes. We hope to transplant the tomatoes into the garden around May 20th.
Peppers are a little lazy , but we hope they will arrive in June for the garden . Watermelons and melons a little more.

I am being 100% facetious, mine tend to be on the excessive side too XD
I see you too have got eager fruit trees XD If our young fruit trees put on too many flowers J cuts them all off so the tree just grows bigger. If there's only a few flowers or fruits that don't look like they'll be too heavy he will let them set and see how they go. Our daughter got the first apple off our latest apple tree which is about the same size as yours I think.
Love your little fairy garden or whatever it is with the winding path and the lights, it looks so cute!

I left many more flowers than I should because I was afraid of frost. Last year the frost destroyed almost all our fruit, and that was in the whole area. This year it was much milder, so now I have a lot of fruit on the shoots. I know that we should unload the young fruit, I feel sorry to remove them now and my housemates won't let me :)
I like the name little fairy garden, and my wife likes it too. So from now on we will call it that.
I am the one who came up with the idea with the path, I wanted to use the existing material and my wife will take care of the rest. She started adding flowers and planting.
