Danube embankment and storks
I saw a post from tattoodjay, abaout Fort Rodman
I followed him and then I see that he also leads this community
Although I get up early, Because of my work in the gardens and in the household
, I can't even take a walk.
I wasn't lazy today, I woke up early, but the sun beat me to it.
The sun rose at 4:54 Central European Time,Summer has really begun.
Pleasant 18-19 degrees Celsius, ideal for walking.
About 600 meters from my house, the embankment of the Danube River begins.
But before I get there, I have a few things to photograph along the road. And they are storks.
Since the Danube and the forest are close to us. , They nest on the chimneys of houses and
on electricity poles.
I like this new system they added to the poles. They made a metal base for the nest and it is slightly raised from the pole itself.
Previously, the storks built directly on the pole, which was dangerous for both passersby and the storks themselves, not to mention that there is electricity there.
The sun is out but the trees are casting shade.
Along the entire length of the road to the embankment on the Danube, stork nests have been set up.
And what makes me especially happy is that there are a lot of them, there are also young ones, but it is difficult to photograph them from the ground
And on the embankment the grass has dried up from the great heat, but the forest is still green.
I also managed to photograph a stork in flight, left part of the picture, look towards the trees.
There is also a small pond about a kilometer and a half from my house
And the Danube itself is about five hundred meters from the embankment, straight through the forest
If you continue along the embankment, 20-30 kilometers from me is the confluence of the Tisa and the Danube
In the distance behind the forest, Fruška Gora can be seen.
And now we have to slowly head back, because I have to go to my regular job, I start at eight o'clock.
Until next time, stay healthy

Welcome to the Wednesday walk
I think that is great they have built those platforms for the storks
Thanks for joining the Wednesday walk
Have a great day
Thank you
Yes, the platforms are a great solution, the fall of those big nests is a dangerous thing for both storks and humans
