Backa Palanka
Yesterday I did a walk for the Wednesday Walk Challenge.
11.11 We celebrate in Europe and Serbia the Day of the Armistice in the First World War, more precisely the day of the armistice in the First World War.
And in our country it is a public holiday and a day off.
And yes I was supposed to rest, but the director and I planned some work related to a factory because it is not crowded there then.
Early in the morning I headed to Bačka Palanka, we were supposed to meet at the factory right away but the director called me for coffee.
And I took advantage of that to take a walk and take some pictures of Bačka Palanka.
I started at the fire station and the park across the street from it.
It is a tower that was once used to raise alarms in case of fire.

Church of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary

In that street which they call Trg Bratsvta i Jedinstva, I would call it a boulevard. There is also the Veljko Petrović Public Library.
Which is currently fenced off because the building is being reconstructed.

After coffee, we had to go to the company headquarters, which is on the other side of town, where I managed to take a few pictures of the Church of the Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos.

- All pictures are mine, I just blurred the license plates on the cars in some pictures
Thanks for reading.
Until next time.
Stay healthy.

what a beautiful place
Thank you
Some things are the same all around the world. Like playground equipment! I love to see pictures of beautiful old buildings in Europe, though. What we think of as "old" in the USA is nothing like "old" in your part of the world.
@scribblingramma Yes, some things are the same, and some are totally different
