Arctic frost has arrived in our area

Although we are geographically much closer to the Mediterranean than to the Arctic, Serbia is in the path of the cold Arctic wave, which often brings us cold, frost, and snow.

Two weeks ago it brought us snow which almost melted after a week .
because the temperature went up
But it came back again bringing us sub-zero temperatures for a few days . The temperature went down to minus 12-13 degrees

And this morning the temperature dropped below zero to 8 degrees
Although there is not a lot of snow, the frost froze everything
Lock, wire, grass, trees...

So even a simple trip to the store must be in full winter gear.Because the wind that blows occasionally gives an eerie feeling that it is much colder.

In our country, we call severe frost without snow a bare frost (golomrazica) And as a gardener, I don't like it because it damages plants, trees, and generally can cause quite a bit of damage.

Dress well until better weather arrives.
