Colocando cojines a mis muebles nuevos // Attaching cushions to my new furniture.

Hola amigos de Hive y en especial a la comunidad de @home.solutions como siempre espero que se encuentren bien al igual que sus familiares y amigos. En mi última publicación por acá les estuve hablando de los muebles nuevos que me compré y de como los acomodé en la casa, con los cuales quedé muy satisfecha porque me gustaron mucho, pero también les comenté que me parecía que les faltaba algo o que la sala necesitaba algo más para que todo me quedara en combinación, pues la verdad mucho negro oscurece también un poco la casa.

Bueno les cuento que encontré la solución a lo que veía que faltaba, así que decidí ponerle a los muebles unos cojines, para que quedaran más cómodos, y así ayudaban a aclarar un poco la sala y ya de viaje contrastaba los colores que ya tenía en el lugar. Lo primero que hice fue escoger el color, el cual tenía que ser un color claro, pues quería aclarar un poco el entorno. El color ideal hubiese sido el blanco, pues ya contaba en la sala con mucha cosas en combinación blanco y negro, pero unos cojines de color blanco se ensuciarían mucho y más con los calorones que hay, y la verdad también hay que ser objetivos, pues al fin y al cabo son para todo el que quiera sentarse.

Después de tanto pensar en que color usaría, un amigo me dio una sugerencia, "¡Niña el beige, te pega con todo lo que tienes!", Y mirándolo desde el contorno general de mi sala, pues era cierto, así que sin dudar me lancé a una nueva aventura de creación ja, ja, ja. Los cojines ya los tenía de los muebles antiguos, solo tenía que forrarlos con el color beige y colocarles unos botones para que dieran el contraste y le dieran fortaleza al cojín, pues no me gusta ese tipo de cojines que cogen cualquier forma. La verdad ya tenía bien claro lo que tenía que hacer, así que sin pensarlo me fui a la calle a encontrar esos forros beige y no regresé a casa hasta encontrarlos.

Bueno pienso fielmente que cuando algo está para que suceda, pues lo de uno siempre está ahí guardado ja, ja, ja, pues resulta que en la tienda quedaban justo los 4 forros que yo necesitaba y del color que yo quería. Así que con más entusiasmo regresé a casa a forrar los botones, pues ya tenía certeza de que el invento que quería hacer me iba a gustar. Llegando a casa le coloqué los forros beige a los cojines y me busqué unos retazos de tela en negro y blanco para forrar los botones de los cojines, aquí comenzaba la incertidumbre, ja, ja, ja. Los botones ya los tenía también solo había que cambiarles el color, no obstante los elaboré la otra vez con algodón y chapas de botellas ji, ji, ji, la verdad es muy sencillo.

Cuando tuve los retazos de tela que quería en negro y blanco, pues comencé a picarlos para forrar los botones, forré la mitad de los botones de blanco y la otra mitad de negro, pues quería ponerle a cada cojín 4 botones, dos de color blanco y dos de color negro, para que así me quedara como en una especie de combinación o fusión. Después de forrados los botones, pues sencillamente se los fui colocando a los cojines de forma tal que quedara el mismo color uno frente al otro en especie de rombo hasta que quedaron listos.

Después de terminados los cojines se los coloqué a los muebles, amigos les cuento que la verdad el resultado final me encantó, todo estaba en una justa armonía, incluso me pegaba con el adorno que tengo en la pared en blanco y negro, así que a mí entender el resultado fue maravilloso. Los colores a la vista hacen un conjunto que parece uno solo, además de que pega todo con la decoración antigua que tenía antes de traer los muebles y también me aclara un poco más la sala y no queda en negro completo, haciendo en ocasiones refrescar la vista de tanta oscuridad. In my last post here I was talking about the new furniture I bought and how I arranged them in the house, with which I was very satisfied because I liked them a lot, but I also told you that I felt that something was missing or that the living room needed something more so that everything would be in combination, because the truth is that a lot of black darkens the house a little bit.

Well I tell you that I found the solution to what I saw was missing, so I decided to put some cushions on the furniture, so that they would be more comfortable, and thus helped to lighten the room a little and contrasted the colors that I already had in the place. The first thing I did was to choose the color, which had to be a light color, because I wanted to lighten the environment a little. The ideal color would have been white, since I already had a lot of things in the living room in black and white combination, but some white cushions would get very dirty and even more with the heat, and the truth is also necessary to be objective, because at the end of the day they are for everyone who wants to sit.

After so much thinking about what color I would use, a friend gave me a suggestion, "Girl, beige, it goes with everything you have! And looking at it from the general outline of my living room, it was true, so without hesitation I launched into a new adventure of creation ha, ha, ha, ha. I already had the cushions from the antique furniture, I just had to cover them with beige and put some buttons to give the contrast and give strength to the cushion, because I do not like that kind of cushions that take any shape. The truth was already clear what I had to do, so without thinking I went to the street to find those beige linings and did not return home until I found them.

Well, I faithfully think that when something is ready to happen, then one's thing is always there, ha, ha, ha, ha, well it turns out that in the store there were just the 4 linings that I needed and the color I wanted. So with more enthusiasm I went back home to line the buttons, because I was sure that I was going to like the invention I wanted to make. Arriving home I put the beige linings to the cushions and I looked for some black and white fabric scraps to cover the buttons of the cushions, here began the uncertainty, ha, ha, ha, ha. The buttons I already had them too, I just had to change the color, however I made them the other time with cotton and bottle caps ji, ji, ji, ji, the truth is very simple.

When I had the pieces of fabric I wanted in black and white, I began to chop them to line the buttons, I lined half of the buttons in white and the other half in black, because I wanted to put 4 buttons on each cushion, two in white and two in black, so that it would be like a kind of combination or fusion. After the buttons were lined, I simply placed them on the cushions in such a way that the same color would be one in front of the other in a kind of rhombus until they were ready.

After the cushions were finished I placed them on the furniture, friends I tell you that the truth is that I loved the final result, everything was in harmony, it even matched with the ornament I have on the wall in black and white, so in my opinion the result was wonderful. The colors at sight make a set that looks like one, plus it fits everything with the old decor that I had before bringing the furniture and also makes the room a little lighter and it is not completely black, sometimes refreshing the view of so much darkness.
