Celebrating Mother's Day // Celebrando el día de la madre.

Hello friends of @hive and especially to the @hive-178265 community, as always I hope you are well as your family and friends. Today I'm stopping by to tell you about the Mother's Day celebration that took place last Sunday at my grandmother's house. In the family we have the custom that every important date like this one we celebrate on this day we always do it in this house which is the main house of the family because it is where practically all of us were born, so the grandmother is the main mother of the family and, therefore, she takes the merit as the longest mother of the family to whom we give much affection and we please her with the gift of being all together with her on this beautiful day.

Early in the morning we started with the preparations, it is no less true that the situation is a little chaotic here in this area of the Caribbean, but with the collaboration of all and the contribution of each family, we always try to make at least a different lunch and that is enough for everyone. So we wanted to make a good Creole chicken broth, rice congrí, roast chicken in casserole which is what is most abundant here, salads and sweets, although these in less proportion because most of the uncles are diabetic, but we tried by all means to find mango jam which is what there is for these times and with cheese because my grandmother likes it very much and we also made a cake to decorate the table and the truth was very rich.

In these days the most important thing is to make grandma feel good and surrounded by much affection, plus her greatest gift and longing is always to see everyone gathered together with her, although this is something relative, as there are many who are not in the country and always on days like these are also missed a lot. This day happened as usual every year, a lunch, photographs, conversations, gifts, as we also have the custom of giving gifts to all mothers on this day, and this year was no different despite the situation, although I can not deny that in less amount, because the situation gets heavier every day and there are some luxuries and treats that we can not give us or at least we can not do it the way we want.

On this day we celebrated Mother's Day and it was not only the grandmother who was present, there were also the aunts and my mom, which although they are mothers also always strive for this day to give all their love and apaches to the oldest, my grandmother, that mother who has taken care of every second of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, teaching each one of us good habits, values and beautiful feelings, someone who has always fought to keep her family united and loving, because everything we have learned in this life we owe it to her, because I think she is an example to follow of what a true mother is with all that implies.

Their daughters, that is, my aunts and my mother, are exemplary women and mothers who also deserve a good celebration like this one on this day, because they are loving, fighters, altruistic, tireless and defend their offspring like lionesses. Mothers who deserve more than a lunch or a cake, but thanks to the union of all, this is what we can give them, in addition to the affection, love and company that we give them on this day. They were all more than satisfied, because they are not looking at the material things that we offer them, but more of the small details and affection, because that is what grandma instilled in each of the generations that she protected under her arms, and we all learned it very well. In life, what is important is everything that cannot be seen but can be felt. The most important thing is the love we have for each other and that we all spend it together and reunited in spite of the absences.

This Mother's Day we celebrate it with joy, because thanks to God we have them and thanks to God they are exemplary mothers, worthy of celebrating this day as the most sublime day of existence, because it is so and they deserve it, it is not a celebration with a party, it is a celebration of love and union, which is what fills us the most. Hola amigos de @hive y en especial a la comunidad @hive-178265 ,como siempre espero se encuentren bien al igual que sus familiares y amigos. En el día de hoy paso por acá para contarles acerca de la celebración del día de las madres que fue el domingo pasado en la casa de mi abuela. En la familia tenemos por costumbre, de que cada fecha importante como esta que celebramos en este día lo hacemos siempre en esta casa que es la principal de la familia porque es donde prácticamente nacimos todos, así que la abuela es la madre principal de la familia y, por tanto, se lleva el mérito como la madre más longeva de la familia a la cual le brindamos mucho cariño y la complacemos con el regalo de estar todos junto a ella en este hermoso día.

Desde temprano comenzamos con los preparativos, no es menos cierto que la situación está un poco caótica por acá por esta zona del caribe, pero con la colaboración de todos y el aporte de cada familia, pues tratamos siempre de hacer al menos un almuercito diferente y que alcance para todos. Asi que quisimos hacer un buen caldo de pollo criollo, arroz congrí, pollito asado en cazuela que es lo que más abunda por acá, ensaladas y dulces, aunque estos en menos proporción porque la mayoría de los tíos son diabéticos, pero tratamos por todos los medios de buscar mermelada de mango que es lo que hay por estos tiempos y con queso porque a mi abuela le gusta mucho y además hicimos un cakecito para adornar la mesa y la verdad estaba muy rico.

En estos días lo más importante es hacer a la abuela sentirse bien y rodeada de mucho cariño, además de que su mayor regalo y anhelo es siempre ver a todos reunidos junto a ella, aunque esto es algo relativo, pues hay muchos que no se encuentran en el país y siempre en días como estos también se extrañan mucho. Este día pasó como siempre en cada año, un almuerzo, fotografías, conversaciones, regalos, pues tenemos también la costumbre de regalarle a todas las madres en este día, y este año no fue diferente a pesar de la situación, aunque no puedo negar que en menos cuantía, pues la situación cada día se pone más pesada y hay algunos lujos y gustos que no podemos darnos o al menos no podemos hacerlo de la forma que queremos.

En este día celebramos el Día de la Madre y no era solo la abuela la que estaba presente, también estaban las tias y mi mamá, las cuales aunque son madres también siempre luchan por este día brindarles todo su amor y apaches a la más vieja, mi abuela, esa madre que a cuidado a cada segundo de sus hijos, nietos y también bisnietos, enseñándonos a cada uno de nosotros buenas costumbres, valores y lindos sentimientos, alguien que siempre ha luchado por mantener su familia unida y amorosa, pues todo lo que hemos aprendido en esta vida se lo debemos a ella, pues creo que es un ejemplo a seguir de lo que es una verdadera madre con todo lo que eso implica.

Sus hijas o sea mis tías y dentro de ellas mi mamá, son mujeres y madres ejemplares que también merecen una buena celebración como esta en este día, pues son amorosas, luchadoras, altruistas, incansables y defienden a sus crías como leonas. Madres que merecen más que un almuerzo o un cake, pero gracias a la unión de todos, es esto lo que podemos darles, además del cariño, el amor y la compañía qué les brindamos en este día. Todas quedaron más que satisfechas, pues no están mirando las cosas materiales que les ofrecemos, sin más de los pequeños detalles y el cariño, pues eso es lo que nos inculcó la abuela a cada una de las generaciones que protegió bajo sus brazos, y todos lo aprendimos muy bien. En la vida lo importante es todo aquello que no se ve pero se siente. Lo más importante es el amor que nos tenemos y que lo pasamos todos juntos y reunidos a pesar de las ausencias.

Este día de las madres lo celebramos con alegría, pues gracias a Dios contamos con ellas y gracias a Dios son madres ejemplares, dignas de celebrar este día como el día más sublime de la existencia, porque así lo es y así lo merecen, no se trata de celebración con fiesta, se trata de una celebración de amor y unión, que es lo que más nos llena.
