Between certainties and hopes // Entre certezas y esperanzas.

Hello friends of @hive and especially to the @hive-178265 community, as always I hope you are well as your family and friends. Today I'm stopping by to tell you about a different day we spent as a family at my grandmother's house, because besides being the main house of the family, it is also the place where we all gather whenever we want to celebrate something, or be together on a special date.

My grandmother's house is located in a rural area and, therefore, it is very big and has a nice patio where we can all get together, because the truth is that the family is very big, so it is the perfect place, since there is plenty of space. On this occasion we were getting together to celebrate the arrival of a cousin of mine who came from abroad, although she had already been here in Cuba for about two days, so it was not the first day we spent with her, but when the time to share is short, you have to have a lot of time to dedicate to her.

This day from very early we prepared the necessary conditions and we headed there, we went early, because when the family gets together, the time to enjoy, tell and laugh the truth is never enough, so we started our journey towards the final destination where we were traveling approximately 30 minutes. When we arrived there, my aunt, who lives with my grandmother, already had some things ready for lunch and then we arrived to continue with the task to finish early in the kitchen and enjoy the day, because as you can imagine, working in a bus is much faster.

When my cousin arrived at grandma's house, everything was ready, so she bought some drinks and snacks to pass the day until lunch time. What can I tell you, in my family we all like to party, lunch and beers, so that could not be missing, my cousin showed up with a few cases of beer to kill the heat ha, ha, ha, ha and then we started the activity ha, ha, ha, ha, Of course the toast for the health of all could not miss, immediately my grandmother starts to jump and say things, she does not like this idea very much, but when she sees that everything is going between curling stories and giving us each other a good time, ha, ha, ha, ha, then she gets over it and calms down.

At lunch time we prepare the table and we all sit together, because my family is still used to this old tradition of eating all together at the edge of the table, it is something that I particularly like very much, because it is a tradition that has been lost a little with the advent of technology, and what I like most is the after dinner, that time of telling stories after dinner is wonderful, I love it, I see it as important as the main course of the dinner.

After lunch we continue telling stories, and the most beautiful of all are those moments in which we remember moments lived and those loved ones that are no longer with us and that we will never forget, it is as if we embrace them again, by the way there is always a moment dedicated to remember them, it is something that can not miss, always comes to light a story, or a saying, or a phrase, an anecdote, something that makes them present even though they are no longer there.

After so many moments of sharing stories and exchanging ideas, and having enjoyed the day to the fullest, all together as a family and giving my cousin all the love in the world, we each returned to our homes and said goodbye to the day happily, always with the certainty that we love each other very much as a family and with the hope that many more days like these will be repeated. Hola amigos de @hive y en especial a la comunidad de @hive-1782, como siempre espero se encuentren bien al igual que sus familiares y amigos. En el día de hoy paso por acá para contarles acerca de un día diferente que pasamos en familia en la casa de mi abuela, pues además de que es la casa principal de la familia, también es el lugar donde todos nos reunimos siempre que queremos celebrar algo, o estar reunidos en alguna fecha especial.

La casa de mi abuela se encuentra ubicada en una zona rural y, por tanto, es bien grande y tiene un buen patio donde todos nos podemos reunir, pues la verdad la familia es bien grande, así que allí es el lugar perfecto, ya que hay mucho espacio. En esta ocasión estábamos reuniéndonos para celebrar la llegada de una prima mía que vino del exterior, aunque ya llevaba como dos días aquí en Cuba, así que no era el primer día que pasábamos junto a ella, pero cuando el tiempo para compartir es poco, pues hay que tener muchísimo tiempo para dedicarle.

Este día desde bien temprano preparamos las condiciones necesarias y nos dirigimos hacia allá, fuimos desde temprano, pues cuando la familia se reúne, el tiempo para disfrutar, contar y reír la verdad que nunca alcanza, así que emprendimos viaje rumbo al destino final donde estuvimos recorriendo aproximadamente 30 minutos de viaje. Al llegar allá, ya mi tía que es la que vive con mi abuela, ya tenía algunas cosas adelantadas del almuerzo y después llegamos nosotras para continuar con la tarea para terminar temprano en la cocina y poder disfrutar del día, pues como podrán imaginar, el trabajo en colectivo es mucho más rápido.

Cuando mi prima llegó a la casa de la abuela, ya todo estaba listo, así que compró algunas bebidas y refrigerios para ir pasando el día hasta que llegara la hora de almuerzo. Que les puedo decir, en mi familia a todos nos gusta la fiesta, la comedera y las cervecitas, así que eso no podía faltar, mi prima se apareció con unas cajas de cerveza para matar el calor ja, ja, ja y entonces dimos por comenzada la actividad ji, ji, ji, por supuesto el brindis por la salud de todos no podía faltar, enseguida mi abuela empieza a saltar y a decir cosas pues, esta idea no le gusta mucho, aunque cuando ve que todo marcha entre rizas cuentos y en darnos chucho unos a los otros ja, ja, ja, pues enseguida se le pasa y se tranquiliza.

A la hora de almuerzo preparamos la mesa y nos sentamos todos juntos, pues mi familia acostumbra todavía a esta antigua tradición de comer todos juntos a la orilla de la mesa, es algo que a mí en lo particular me gusta muchísimo, pues es una tradición que se ha perdido un poco con la llegada de las tecnologías, y lo que más me gusta es la sobremesa, ese momento de contar historias después de la cena es maravilloso, a mí me encanta, lo veo tan importante como el plato fuerte de la cena.

Después del almuerzo seguimos contando historias, y lo más lindo de todo son esos instantes en los que se recuerdan momentos vividos y se hacen presentes esos seres queridos que ya no están junto a nosotros y que nunca olvidaremos, pues es como si los volviéramos a abrazar, por cierto siempre hay un momento dedicado a recordarlos, es algo que no puede faltar, siempre sale a la luz un cuento, o un dicharacho, o una frase, una anécdota, algo que los hace hacerse presentes aunque ya no estén.

Después de tantos momentos de compartir historias, e intercambiar ideas, y de haber disfrutado el día a plenitud todos reunidos en familia y de brindarle a mi prima todo el cariño del mundo, nos regresamos cada uno a nuestras casas y despedimos el día felizmente, siempre con la certeza de que nos amamos mucho como familia y con la esperanza de que se repitan muchos días más como estos.
