Afianzando nuestra fe, "Domingo de Ramos".Strengthening our faith, "Palm Sunday."

Saludos a mis amigos de #Hive-Sucre, me da gusto compartir este post con ustedes. Hoy les quiero hablar sobre la actividad realizada este “Domingo de Ramos”, propuesta por la comunidad de la calle La Florida “Plaza Urdaneta” ubicada en el sector La Copita, enlazada con la Catedral de Cumaná, en el estado Sucre.

Greetings to my friends from #Hive-Sucre, I am happy to share this post with you. Today I want to talk to you about the activity carried out this “Palm Sunday”, proposed by the community of La Florida street “Plaza Urdaneta” located in the La Copita sector, linked to the Cathedral of Cumaná, in the state of Sucre.

Es oportuno decir que en fechas memorables como la Semana Santa, las comunidades de varias iglesias de Cumaná se congregan para conmemorar la semana mayor. Asimismo, hoy domingo algunos cumaneses nos abocamos a “la plaza Urdaneta” ubicada en la calle La Florida, sector La Copita, de esta ciudad, para conmemorar esta fecha tan especial que año tras año nos llena de fe y amor.

It is appropriate to say that on memorable dates such as Holy Week, the communities of various churches in Cumaná gather to commemorate the greater week. Likewise, today, Sunday, some of us from Cumana head to “Plaza Urdaneta” located on La Florida Street, La Copita sector, in this city, to commemorate this special date that year after year fills us with faith and love.

De igual forma, algunas de las personas que allí estaban presentes que conocían de la programación y que asisten normalmente a la Catedral se apersonaron a tal evento, para incrementar más su fe. Cada año estas personas acuden a la catedral Metropolitana de Cumaná para participar de este gran evento por su fe en cristo, e igualmente van en búsqueda de la preciada palma bendita. Esta misa fue auspiciada por el obispo de la diócesis de Cumaná. Por su parte, además del obispo, también estuvieron, los curas de la arquidiócesis de Cumana, monaguillos y otros, quienes nos acompañaron al comienzo de la mañana, repartiendo sus palmas a todos los feligreses que allí se encontraban.

Likewise, some of the people who were present who knew about the programming and who normally attend the Cathedral came to this event, to further increase their faith. Every year these people go to the Metropolitan Cathedral of Cumaná to participate in this great event for their faith in Christ, and they also go in search of the precious blessed palm. This mass was sponsored by the bishop of the diocese of Cumaná. For their part, in addition to the bishop, there were also the priests of the archdiocese of Cumana, altar boys and others, who accompanied us at the beginning of the morning, distributing their palms to all the parishioners who were there.

Fue una actividad diferente a las anteriores, ya que en otras oportunidades se había realizado dentro de la iglesia para luego salir a la procesión, esta vez la realizaron al aire libre, en esta plaza, la misa también estuvo acompañado con cantos alegóricos a la Semana Santa, posterior a esto, allí mismo hicieron la bendición de la palma, y todos los que estaban presentes se sintieron muy bien, recibiendo la bendición con agua bendita.

It was a different activity from the previous ones, since on other occasions it had been carried out inside the church and then gone out to the procession, this time it was carried out outdoors, in this square, this mass was also accompanied with allegorical songs During Holy Week, after this, they blessed the palm right there, and everyone who was present felt very good, receiving the blessing with holy water.

Después de allí nos fuimos en procesión hasta la catedral y llegamos allá para presenciar otra eucaristía. De la catedral tengo muchos recuerdos bonitos, porque allí bautizaron a mi hijo, y tomo su primera comunión. Esta fue una velada muy linda.

After there we went in procession to the cathedral and arrived there to witness another Eucharist. I have many beautiful memories of the cathedral, because my son was baptized there, and he took his first communion. This was a very nice evening.
